Tucked away down a bumpy track, our recent stay at this charming hotel was a delightful blend of tranquility and comfort. The peaceful, forested location, while a bit remote from Nanyuki town, provided a serene escape that we appreciated. The gardens were lovely, and the open fire in the lounge added a touch of warmth to the ambiance. The room was spacious and well-appointed, with an exceptionally comfortable bed that ensured a restful night's sleep—especially with the lovely addition of hot water bottles during turndown. Breakfast was a mixed affair. It featured a traditional English breakfast, complete with crepes that were a lovely surprise, catering to a variety of tastes. The attentive staff were friendly and consistently ensured our comfort, showcasing the hotel’s hallmark of excellent service. This property, a refreshing contrast to the often overpriced and so-called luxury camps in Samburu and Masai Mara, allowed for a quiet retreat.
